Meet Our Friendly and Experienced Guides.

Tassie Meikle.

I am a local Wyoming girl that grew up on the Rockin’ M Ranch along with many of the horses that I have helped to raise.  After high school I went to boot camp in San Antonio, TX for the US Air Force specializing in hydraulics. I now attend University of Wyoming majoring in Outdoor Recreation and work on C-130 Hercules for the Wyoming Air National Guard in Cheyenne.  I spend the summers guiding horseback rides at the Rockin’ M Ranch. I love the horses, being outside, and enjoy sharing my local knowledge of the area with the guests of my rides.

Lexie Hayes.

Lexie has been riding and training her own horses in her home town of Rigby, Idaho since she was a young girl. Lexie has an extreme love for her horses and it shows through her guided rides. Lexie spends much of her free time hunting for big game in the fall and studying.  She is currently working towards a degree in radiology at Idaho State University.

Blake Pierce

Blake Pierce was 17 years old when he first visited the Rockin’ M Ranch in 2012 on a family vacation. It was during this trip that he fell in love with the area and thought he may later enjoy a career as an outdoor guide. Blake came back to the Rockin’ M as an intern in 2013 and then attended the World Cast Anglers Fly Fishing guide School in 2014 and spent the next few years back in California attending fireman academy and received his E.M.T. certification. By 2019 Blake found his way back to Wyoming where he has decided to guide year-round, fishing, horseback rides, snowmobiling, and hunting. We are happy to have Blake guiding horseback rides and fishing trips for the Rockin’ M Ranch. Blake is great at sharing his skills and passion for the outdoors with his guests.

Hello, I am Rob Meikle, owner and operator of the Rockin’ M.

I was born and raised 70 miles from our ranch location in Idaho Falls, Idaho and started my guiding career in Jackson Hole 1993. After many enjoyable years of guiding hunting, fly fishing, and snowmobile tours, my wife and two daughters have teamed up with me to build the Rockin’ M Ranch. We built the ranch in 2003 and pride ourselves in personable service. Besides day to day operations, I still spend many of my summer days either guiding fly fishing trips or horseback rides. I look forward to sharing with you my knowledge and excitement for the outdoors.
